Osteopaths are primary health care practitioners who can diagnose, assess and treat your musculoskeletal conditions. Osteopathy is a system of manual medicine which is based on unique principles in relation to biomechanics. Commonly Osteopaths treat all ages including adults, children and babies with complaints such as; low back pain, neck pain, headaches/migraines, shoulder pain, pain associated with arthritic conditions, pregnancy related low back pain and sports injuries, just to name a few. You do not need a referral to see an Osteopath. Osteopaths use a wide variety of techniques to treat and manage your condition. Rebates are available for private health insurance patients and Medicare under the Chronic Disease management care plan.
